About me

I hail from a small town in Alabama called Russellville where I spent my entire childhood. From there, I moved to Auburn, AL to pursue my undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering and later discovered a fascination in the intersection of machine learning and biology. This led to my current position of being a 3rd year CS PhD Student focused on the application of machine learning techniques to macromolecules at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA.
